Parks & pavements: a botanical walk, Deptford X festival, July 2021
I led three walks exploring the botany of Deptford parks and pavements, dicussing plant folklore and uses. We identified common weeds and considered how they can be foraged for medicine, food and other practical uses.
Each walk started in Margaret McMillian park and ended up in Folkestone Gardens, via Fordham Park and Woodpecker Road.
